The Artist
Born in Illinois and raised in the Twin Cities, I was the only child until 13. So I had lots of time explore my imagination and grow a wonderous curiosity for creativity and for the world.
My Father loved to draw and he put a pencil in my hand at the tender age five years old. It was then that I relalized I can express myself through visual creation. Many ups and downs brought me to where I stand today. Love, loss, trauma, pain, experiences that carved me into a more wise and self relient version of myself in ways I never knew I would be.
Over the years, Ive learned that art is much more than self-expression for me. Its a way of slowing down, listening inward, and giving form to experiences that don't always have words.
I fell in love with drawing and sketching initially, but more than anything, Im someone who has always been drawn to making things with my hands and expressing my creativity any way I can with any medium that I am guided to use.
Connection is essential for me, to self and the world around me and I like to create things that others are able to connect with as well.
I believe creativity lives in all of us. My work is one expression of that belief, shaped by curiosity, intuition, deep healing, and a appreciation for the profound ways art can transform the spaces and somtimes the people it touches.
Beyond the Glitter
The Vision
My signature collection, Floral Rivers, explores movement and beauty of flowing river-like forms through flowers, stones, textures, light, and color. This collection began with a desire to bring a little more charm into everyday spaces- literally and visually.
The goal is to create artwork that catches the eye, brightens a room, and offers a quiet lift to the spirit through bold color, dimensional design, and intentional sparkle.
Each piece is hand-crafted and one-of-a-kind, contributing to a cohesive body of work while carrying its own unique character. Glitter serves as a signiture medium throughout the collection, catching the light to create subtle movement and visual energy that shifts as the viewer moves through the space.
My hope is simply to create space for expression, presence, and quiet connection.
